Summary

 

Global private equity firm located in downtown Boston seeks a temporary Events Manager to support their team on a temporary basis.

 

Responsibilities for the Events Manager

  • Promote the company though firm-sponsored events and meetings
  • Assist in the planning of each event by identifying key audiences and messages, developing agendas, coordination of meetings and event sites and logistics
  • Managing the budget of the events including billing arrangements and invoice reviews
  • Develop and manage website registration, attendee and activity lists and invitations for event goers
  • Promote the firm’s brand through conference attendance and sponsorship
  • Assist with website maintainable and advertising

Requirements for the Events Manager

  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience in marketing, event planning, event management and/or project management
  • Experience in a private equity or financial firm is strongly preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills along with strong editing and proof-reading skills is required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Experience with management of external vendors
  • The ability to develop and manage event budgets

Compensation for the Events Manager

Hourly salary up to $30 based on experience
